Bassment Moves to Sub89 in Reading 2010-05-04 00:00:00
Just to give you an update on things if you think we have been quiet the last few weeks. Backstage there has been a lot of very important meetings and top secret planning on taking Bassment to the next level.
Official event invites will be going out very soon but the big news we can release now is......
BASSMENT WILL NO LONGER BE AT BAR MANGO AND IS MOVING ONTO BIGGER AND BETTER THINGS.
SO ACCEPT NO IMITATIONS!
As of May we are moving to our new weekend night monthly home at
SUB 89
Sub89 has easily the loudest club sound system in Reading designed for DnB and Dubstep. State of the art lighting and video projections and most importantly for some cheaper alcohol. What's more its the only venue that we feel will help regain those special in your face Bassment Vibes that you love about the DJ’s and MC’s being right in your face, sharing the vibe in an even bigger venue.
Even better we are teaming up with our friends at Resonance to bring you some massive dubstep headliners to share the limelight with the huge DnB headliners we already have confirmed and ready to unleash on your ears.
So keep an eye on your event invites in the next week or two where we will be releasing such a big lineup we have to keep pinching ourselves that we have managed to pull it off.

Massive respect to everybody who came down to our 5th Birthday event last month where we played host to the first Hospitality Reading event. The Night was an absolute roadblock and was officially Bar Mangos busiest night in the history of them being open. This month we come with 2 godfathers of the drum and bass world in the form of DILLINJA, and Dread Recordings head honcho RAY KEITH who will be dropping some of the many dubplates he has forthcoming next year in a special 2 HOUR SET. All this with guest mc RHYMES.
Support comes from residents KBASHA AKA “the filthmaster” and Linus who after tearing the roof off bar mango last month with his 3 deck 5 years of Bassment set will be warming everybody up into a frenzy. We are also welcoming our friend from LOWDOWN the very successfull free entry Saturday night affair at the purple turtle, DJ DYNAMIC. Vocal support comes from Flewid, Focus D & Chalkie “i like to take my top off in public”.
Garden Duties as always are being taken care of by the Resonance Crew who will be doing a special 5 HOUR BACK TO BACK dubstep rinseout with dj’s Autopilot:on, Underhand Tactics, Advocate & DR Hugo. And mic duties are taken care of by Danny C & B3

Well all....
Sorry for the lack of updates... again. Hospitality was a BIG night and we are still all recovering. I know the website says Hospitality is still due.. just working on changing that to display the next event!

With Less than a week to go before our FRICTION, EKSMAN, BENNY PAGE & SYE night at Bar Mango in Reading on the 26th March, the Bassment team are very excited, i bet you are too :). If last month is anything to go by, it is going to be a wicked wicked night. For those of you that forsome reason hav’nt yet bought a ticket - Buy one now to avoid queing or disapointment with not getting in!! There only £7! Bassment Sessions in Maidenhead sent off the money today that we raised at our last event for Comic Relief! £118.01p.. See..Who says Drum & Bass heads dont care!! haha.. Well done every one and thanks to everybody that made a contribution & showed your support- Big up to all of you!
Maidenhead Bassment Sessions are going through a few changes, we have a New Resident Mc joining the Maidenhead crew - Potta Mc!! We are also thinking of a new name for the night.. Any ideas anybody? We are going to have a even louder sound system at our next night on the 10th April which is being supplied by Infectious and lights too
Bassment are teaming up with Resonance on the 2nd April at Bar Mango in Reading, We are supplying the garden with what we do best - DRUM & BASS!! Resonance will be in the main room blasting the Dubstep with BREAKAGE (Digital Soundboy) & DUBCHILD (Storming Productions) This is Going to be a Larrrgggeeeee night aswel
